Book Signing

Saturday, July 15, in the store from 11 am-1 pm, local author Andy Keith will be set up to sign copies of his book Afloat Again, Adrift. Minnesota is the start of three different watersheds. Andy has paddled all three and this is his story.

Outdoorsman Andrew Keith relates three trips at unique points of his life: down the Mississippi River to New Orleans; through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, eventually to Hudson Bay; and through the Great Lakes to the St. Lawrence Seaway. From the solitude of the deep wilderness to chance encounters with strangers who offer shelter or a meal, from windblown days exploring unspoiled islands to frightening spills in whitewater rapids, from the sight of wolves and polar bears to the scent of salt marshes and pine forests, Keith describes a geographical and spiritual journey.
